The BL type pin coupling is designed for connecting two coaxial shafts, with a torque transmission capacity ranging from 63 to 160,000 kg·m and a shaft bore diameter from 25 to 600 mm. It is suitable for operation in ambient temperatures from -20°C to +70°C.
The coupling's performance parameters and basic dimensions correspond to those specified in Table 1. Each hub can be mounted on either the driving or driven shaft, depending on installation requirements.
For motor applications, the hub-to-shaft fit follows the specifications of GB756-65 for cylindrical shaft extensions and GB757-65 for tapered shaft extensions. When used with other types of shafts, key and keyway types and dimensions should meet the requirements of GB1095-1096-73 and Q/ZB108-73.
When there is no radial displacement between the shaft centerlines, the maximum allowable angular misalignment is 0°30′. In cases where there is no angular misalignment, the permissible radial displacement should comply with the values listed in Table 2.
The standard pin material is Nylon 6, or an equivalent grade with comparable mechanical properties. Phenolic laminated cloth boards or rods may also be used as alternatives. Nylon 6 pins must meet the following minimum mechanical properties:
Tensile strength: ≥ 540 kg/cm²
Flexural strength: ≥ 700 kg/cm²
