Conveyor Chains for Paper Mills are key equipment used for material transportation in the papermaking industry. They are specifically designed for the humid, high-temperature, dusty, and heavy-load environments of papermaking production, and are responsible for conveying paper, pulp, paper rolls, and auxiliary materials throughout the entire process, including pulping, papermaking, drying, and winding.
Structural Features:
High-strength chain body: Core components such as chain plates and pins are usually designed with thickened structures to enhance tensile and fatigue resistance, so as to adapt to the heavy loads of paper rolls (especially large-diameter finished paper rolls). Some chains adopt double-pitch or reinforced outer chain plates to enhance the overall structural stability.
Anti-fouling and self-cleaning design: The gaps between chain links are small, reducing the accumulation of paper dust and fibers; some models feature smooth treatment on the surface of rollers or bushings, or are equipped with scrapers to prevent impurities from entangling and affecting transmission.
Moisture-resistant structure: A sealing design (such as O-ring sealing) is adopted between the pin and the bushing to prevent pulp moisture and steam from invading and causing internal rust, thereby extending the lubrication cycle and service life.
Adaptation to complex paths: Through a flexible articulated structure, it can adapt to various paths in the paper mill, such as straight lines, turns (e.g., 90° steering for conveying paper rolls), and climbing (e.g., conveying wet paper sheets to the drying cylinder), ensuring continuous material transmission
