Carrier chains for rubber gloves are specialized conveyor chains designed for automated rubber glove production lines. Their main function is to carry glove molds (hand molds) during the glove manufacturing process (such as dipping, vulcanization, demolding, inspection, etc.) and achieve precise and stable continuous conveying. Their design needs to adapt to the special environment of glove production (such as contact with glue, high temperature, chemical agents) and process requirements (such as stable operation, positioning accuracy).

I. Core Functions and Application Scenarios

Rubber glove production is a continuous assembly line operation. In the entire process from "hand mold cleaning → glue dipping (natural rubber/nitrile rubber) → drying → vulcanization → cooling → demolding", the conveyor chain must carry the hand molds throughout and drive them through each process station. Therefore, it is the "link" connecting various production equipment, directly affecting production efficiency and glove quality (such as avoiding uneven glue layers caused by hand mold shaking).
II. Structural Features

The structure of rubber glove conveyor chains must take into account bearing stability, operation accuracy, and environmental resistance. The typical structure includes:

Chain Body

• Basic chain links: Mostly adopt roller chain or bent plate chain structure (composed of chain plates, rollers, sleeves, and pins). The pitch is designed according to the production line speed and hand mold spacing (common pitches are 25-50mm).
• Hand mold connection components: "Hand mold brackets" (made of metal materials such as stainless steel or galvanized steel) are fixed on the chain plates. The brackets are connected to the hand molds through bolts or buckles to ensure that the hand molds are fixed vertically or obliquely (the hand molds need to be immersed in glue during dipping).

Guiding and Positioning Devices

• Guide rails (such as U-shaped groove rails) are usually installed on both sides of the chain to limit the lateral deviation of the chain and ensure stable operation.
• Some high-precision production lines will add positioning pins or gear meshing structures to the chain to ensure that the positioning error of the hand mold at key stations (such as demolding) is ≤1mm.

Driving and Tensioning Mechanisms

• The chain is driven by a motor through a sprocket (which needs to match the chain pitch). In some scenarios, dual drives are adopted (to reduce sagging during long-distance conveying).
• A tensioning device (such as a spring or screw tensioner) is provided at the end to compensate for the elongation of the chain after wear and avoid tooth skipping or slipping.
