High Precision SPZ Taper Lock Pulley

The SPZ Taper Lock narrow V-belt pulley is a European standard standardized mechanical transmission component, which adopts a cone sleeve locking structure and is used in conjunction with the SPZ type narrow V-belt. It is tightly connected to the inner cone of the pulley through an 8-degree outer cone surface, greatly improving the centering accuracy of the transmission components. This product is strictly produced in accordance with ISO 4183 and DIN 2211 international standards

Taper locking structure

The tapered pulley consists of two parts: the pulley body and the taper bush.

The Taper has the following characteristics:

Cone fit: The outer surface of the cone sleeve has an 8 ° taper, which precisely fits with the cone surface of the inner hole of the pulley

Installation steps

Cleaning treatment: Remove oil stains, iron filings, and dust from the outer surface of the cone sleeve, pulley cone hole, and shaft surface

 

Check the mating surface: Confirm that all surfaces are free of burrs, cracks, or fatigue marks

 

Pre installed taper sleeve: Place the taper sleeve into the taper hole of the pulley, aligning the half hole to form a complete bolt hole

 

Apply lubricant: Apply a small amount of lubricant to the bolt head and threads

 

Install bolts: Screw the bolts into the threaded holes on the pulley side (note not the top out holes)

 

Integrated shaft insertion: Insert the assembled pulley and cone sleeve onto the shaft and position them in the desired position

 

Alternating tightening: Tighten the bolts evenly in diagonal order until the specified torque is reached

Disassembly steps

Loosen the bolt: Loosen the installation bolt a few times

Remove bolts: Remove 1-2 bolts

Moving into the top out hole: screw the bolt into the top out hole (disassembly hole) on the cone sleeve

Alternating ejection: Tighten the ejection bolts alternately and eject the cone sleeve from the pulley to remove it as a whole from the shaft

The SPZ cone sleeve pulley is compatible with the following narrow V-belt models:

SPZ (European standard narrow V-band)

XPZ (European standard narrow V-belt, toothed type)

Z/10 (Classic V-Belt)

3V/3VX (American standard narrow V-band)

These belt models have similar cross-sectional dimensions (with a top width of about 10mm and a height of about 8mm) and can be interchangeable.
