Product Description

Type B spur gears are gears conforming to Chinese national standards (GB/T). They are standard spur gears with a stronger tooth root and a shorter tooth tip. Type B spur gears are a high-strength version of standard spur gears. They are not the default choice but an engineering design option for specific working conditions. Type B spur gears are preferred when operating under heavy loads, impacts, or high-speed, high-temperature environments.

Characteristics of Type B Gears:
1) Stronger Tooth Root: Deeper tooth roots mean greater thickness at the tooth root, allowing Type B spur gears to withstand greater bending stress and impact loads.

2) Effectively avoids undercutting.

3) Better Lubrication and Error Tolerance: Larger clearance allows for more lubricant storage, aiding in heat dissipation and reducing wear. It also provides additional safety margin for manufacturing errors and thermal expansion.
