Structural Features

The structure of welded-steel-type drag chains is basically the same as that of welded structural offset link chains for engineering use. The sleeves welded to the offset link plates are non-circular shaped pipes: their outer circular surfaces engage with sprockets, while their non-circular surfaces align with the chain's running direction to push or scrape materials. Each chain link is typically composed of side plates, pins, sleeves, and other components connected by welding. Some chains may also be equipped with special attachments (e.g., C1, C3, C4, RR, and wing-shaped attachments) to meet different conveying needs.

Manufacturing Processes

• Material Selection: High-quality steels such as medium-carbon steel and low-carbon steel are usually adopted to ensure the chain has sufficient strength and toughness.
