A pulley is a mechanical component used to transmit power or motion, and belongs to the core components of a flexible transmission system. It usually consists of a wheel body (including hub, spokes and rim) and a mounting shaft hole. Pulleys are fitted with one or more pulleys through a belt to achieve the transmission of torque, speed or direction of motion. It has a wide range of applications covering industrial equipment, automobiles, agricultural machinery, household appliances and many other fields.
Core functions
1.Power transmission: The rotating motion and torque from the driving pulley are transmitted to the driven pulley through the belt, driving other components to operate (such as the motor driving the water pump, fan, etc.).
2.Speed adjustment: Different diameter pulley combinations (variable ratio) can be used to change the output speed (such as deceleration or acceleration).
3.Direction conversion: The transmission direction can be changed using crossed belts or tensioning wheels (such as vertical or horizontal transmission).
4.Buffering and shock absorption: The belt transmission has some elasticity, which can absorb vibrations and shocks and reduce noise.

Sprocket way to install
1.Before assembling the transmission device, check the sprocket groove to ensure there are no scratches or sharp edges, and all dimensions should comply with the standards.
2.Clean the dirt from the mating surfaces of the shaft, cone sleeve, and sprocket, and then attach the cone sleeve and sprocket onto the shaft.
3.The toothed half-hole on the sprocket matches the non-toothed half-hole on the cone sleeve (this hole is called the installation hole and is indicated in Figure 3, with 2 such holes on the 1008-3030 cone sleeve and 3 on the 3525-5050 cone sleeve). The non-toothed hole on the sprocket matches the toothed hole on the cone sleeve (this hole is called the disassembly hole and is indicated by· in the figure, with 1 such hole on the 1008-3030 cone sleeve and 2 on the 3525 cone sleeve).
4.Move the cone sleeve to the ideal position, gently pull the sprocket onto the cone sleeve, and insert the internal hexagonal bolt into the installation hole.
5.Use a hexagonal wrench to gradually tighten each bolt alternately until the torque shown in Table 1 is reached. (Note: To ensure a tight fit, each bolt must be evenly tightened.)
6.If a keyway is to be assembled, first place the key in the keyway of the shaft, and then assemble the cone sleeve.
7.After running the lower drive for a period of time, stop the machine and check the tightening degree of the bolts.
Disassembly 
1. Loosen all the bolts. Remove one or two bolts according to the number of the disassembly holes. Lubricate the bolt threads and the bolt tips with oil. Insert the bolts into the disassembly holes as shown in Figure 3.
2. Tighten the bolts alternately until the cone sleeve and the pulley are released.
3. Remove the cone sleeve and the pulley from the shaft (if the cone sleeve and the shaft are too tightly attached, use a flat screwdriver to gently enlarge the straight slot of the cone sleeve. Do not exert excessive force to prevent the cone sleeve from bursting.)
