Sharp Top Conveyor Roller Chains are a type of conveyor chain equipped with specially designed serrated areas on the chain links. These sharp protrusions or "sharp tops" form a gripping surface, so they may also be called serrated chains. Their tooth profile is carefully designed to provide optimal grip while minimising scuffing on the product surface.

The chain plates are made of specific steel grades to achieve optimal fatigue strength, and cold-forged solid components are used. Pins, bushings, rollers, and side plates undergo heat treatment and shot peening to obtain the best fatigue strength and working life. In addition, the chain is pre-lubricated with high-quality lubricants specially designed for sharp top chains to increase wear resistance and reduce corrosion.

They have excellent fatigue and wear resistance. The chain plates are made of specific steel grades, combined with shot peening and heat treatment processes to increase fatigue strength, prevent fatigue-related cracks, and have a long service life. Furthermore, the bottom of the chain plates is ground to form a truly flat surface, which can better distribute the load on the chain.
