Firstly, determine the strength grade (standard type, high-strength SH type, etc.) and basic dimensions of the chain. If the existing chain model is unclear, key data such as pitch, roller diameter, inner link width, and chain plate thickness can be accurately measured, which helps manufacturers quickly confirm matching models.
2. Customized extended pivot and accessories
The length of the extended pin shaft (L3, L, Lc, etc.) can be customized according to the thickness of your fixture or push plate. According to different installation methods, common attachment forms include:
EP attachment: Single side pin shaft elongation is the most basic form.
EC attachment: There is a snap spring groove machined at the end of the extended pin, which can be used to quickly fix the attachment with a snap spring to prevent it from falling off.
3. Choose materials based on the environment
Conventional environment: Choose standard carbon steel chains with high strength and good cost-effectiveness.
Corrosive/clean/temperature changing environment: For food, pharmaceutical or chemical production lines, stainless steel (such as SUS304) material chains should be preferred, which have excellent corrosion resistance and can work in a wide temperature range of -20 ℃ to 400 ℃.
4. Calculate length and ordering method as needed
You can order according to "standard packaging" (usually 5 feet or 10 feet per piece, including one joint) or "required number of chain links". When ordering, provide the specific number of chain links (such as "SS40-1-R 39 sections") and purchase additional connectors (connecting chain links) as needed
